I wasn't a fan of Ranks when he arrived
I thought his draft highlight reel was mostly beating up on kids and cheapies out the back
But undeniable talent nonetheless
His progress at the Suns has been fantastic though not just for him but for a lot of us who have been here since the start and felt we've seen talent not developed and wasted draft after draft
Now he's one of my favourite players and I'd be devastated to see him leave
I really hope he stays
He is X factor and that's a rare commodity in the increasingly homogenised world of professional sport

I need to change my username to FERAL SUNS FAN
Oh I could come up with some ideas

He's resigning very soon.
SO I'M TOLD (very reliably)
As in... there may be an announcement coming tomorrow/Sunday? Usually re-signing announcements come on a weekday so I'm going to guess the announcement will come at some point between Monday to next Friday.

Sorry don't have those sort of details.
I was told soon that was it.

Currently paying $8 to win the Brownlow (equal with Cripps). Could Touk sneak a Brownlow this year? He's been extremely consistent and the only other guy I could see that might regularly take votes from him would be Noah Anderson. Touk was best on yesterday and we know he got the Marcus Ashcroft Medal last week in a losing QClash so you'd expect him to get the three votes in that game as well. I think it's fair to say there's still at least two more games against Hawthorn and North where he could claim a further six votes. That's potentially as many as 12 votes he could claim in the final five weeks of the season.

Gaz won it in 2013 when we won 8 games and we've already won 9 games so far this season... is it possible? Do we have a Brownlow Medallist in waiting?

My love for Touk Miller knows absolutely no bounds.

Ben king is time poor?

Money is a helluva drug.
Don’t think we can understate that money means different things for different people too.

Some people from well off backgrounds, others not.

Some players will walk into a profession when they retire, others not.

Can’t begrudge someone if they chose to maximise their earnings during their career because we don’t know what that means in the context of their lives.
