Kane usually has some good realistic takes but this isn't one. It is literally the best season of our existence.

As for Sexton just listen to Dew is the post match about him. He had injuries during the pre season and then got covid during the season which saw him in and out of the VFL side. He also kicked 6 goals against North Melbourne, after half time is was very clear the suns where targeting him inside 50 at all cost.

As I've said on here almost every journo had the suns in the bottom 4 pre season after King went down. The fact that we turned a massive loss into a 10 win season and a positive percentage seasons shows how far the suns have come since the Ablett days.

Now the expectation of the Suns now changes for next season, if they don't make finals next year it's a failure.

Well done to our skippers for making the AA squad.
A few interesting selections, one that surprised me was tom papley. He and rankine had very similar stats this year.

Think they'll go Gawn and Blicavs on the bench with Witts missing out

Miller should make it though.

Congratulations to both of them being nominated.

If he doesn’t get AA tonight it’s going to be one of the greatest injustices I can recall. Out and out deserving of the AA spot.
I'm not so sure tbh. His last 5 games or so were pretty average despite hit out numbers.

Max Gawn is a lock, Witts does deserve a spot but can’t see it happening

Why is Ballard not in contention for AA? Second most intercept marks in the league and second least goals conceded in the league.

He had a stellar season, deserves a hell of lot more recognition externally.
Because he doesn’t play in the VFL home state
