It could be a close call for Mark Evans too in Clarko/Fagan disaster as current AFL commissioner stepped down. Mark left Hawks in March 2013 and his last role was head of footy dept.
AFL Commissioner Andrew Newbold is the latest to step down from his role following the stunning allegations levelled against key Hawthorn people by the ABC.

Newbold was the president of Hawthorn between 2012 and early 2016.

Haha, looking forward to people responses here on Drummond's evaluation of Crab :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

I liked how he made the point that there is a lot of growth potential even in older members.
Ie. lemmens, Weller etc who have played limited time in the backline.

Also, did they just forget to talk about Ballard??

Appears Evans may also have to defend himself in the Hawks enquiry.

“Alastair Clarkson, Chris Fagan and Mark Evans were accused by a fellow Hawthorn coach of running the football department like the “Russian Mafia’’, the club’s review of its handling of Indigenous players reveals”.

Herald obtained the report. I guess it could be a close call for Evans too if at least some allegations are substantiated but the article does not mention any specific allegation regarding Evans.

Alastair Clarkson, Chris Fagan and Mark Evans accused by Hawthorn whistleblower of behaving like the ‘Russian Mafia’

These “aggressive intimidatory actions were undertaken by the most senior of the coaching and management hierarchy’’, wrote the review’s authors, led by project manager Phil Egan
A Hawks coach, who the Herald Sun has chosen not to name, told the reviewers: “If you dare question their methods, you were frozen out.”

“I knew this day would come,’’ the insider told the authors, according to the report.

The whistleblower coach, who is not Indigenous, “reached out’’ to the authors of the report who up to that point had only interviewed Indigenous people in order to corroborate parts of the testimonies from players and their partners.

“He went on to say Evans, Clarkson, Fagan and Burt operated the football department like The Russian Mafia,” the report said.

As long as you give me a cushy job where I don't have to do much.
How about head of list management?

I suggest taking the number 12 Guernsey as a player if that's your plan off the encumbent. Won't need to do much.

The list management team are extremely busy debaucherising our TPP.
