Why doesn't he say Anderson, Rowell, King, Miller, Humphrey, hollands, ainsworth etc should get out now? He's looking out for his team hoping they could benefit from it. Surprised it was given time on the afl page also.

Pretty stock standard q&a he did mention bringing the likes of Ellis, lemmens, Miller, weller, Powell in a bit underdone wasn't ideal.

Assume this is what people were talking about but I’ve just seen it,

On the official AFL Twitter

Izak didn't leave to play finals
TBH I'm pretty disheartened that the AFL allows this rubbish to be posted on its own site
I could understand a commercial entity but allowing white anting of struggling teams by it's own commentators is pretty vile

Minimum pass mark is two wins over the next month and if we're serious then it should actually be three wins. Do that and we're back in the finals hunt, but if we keep dropping winnable games like we did to Freo then Dew's in massive trouble. Heat is on.

I can't see us being any higher than 14th at the end of round 9, happy to be proven wrong of course but unless a switch gets flicked soon, it will just be another repeat of the seasons before it.

Not a bad interview. A lot of diverse topics, and a fair bit of transparency (apart from some generic spin at the start).

You can also see that the quality of discussion questions and nuance differs greatly between Healy and Cornes…

Just checking in to see if the unofficial Gold Coast Suns podcast, The Footy with Broden gets much love?

Just listened to the latest episode.
Good so far, will subscribe and see where it goes. Guaranteed some Suns talk at least. Tom predicted the Suns to finish 14th at the start of the year and now has us finishing 17th. So, not that confident.
