Can’t see how the AFL can turn around and suspend Touk, definitely was not intentional, it was in the motion of the tackle and Touk’s head was facing the other way in the tackle so he did not know what he was grabbing in the tackle so for w***er Zorko to suggest it was deliberate is purely out of spite.

I reckon a “Zorko’s a w***er 👏 👏 👏 👏” chant is in order to ring around the stadium the next time we play them.

It's a bad look for Touk. Instead of the media talking about how well the Suns played, they are talking about the incident.

I don't think Touk will be suspended as they can not prove it was intentional or deliberate, if anything It's just careless, which according to the MRP is just a fine.

Also, the people on Brisbane's board saying how of this happened in any other workplace it would be sexual assault need to grow up.

All of you are already giving an on-field accident way too much bother. It's not a 'bad look' given it was a mistake. Find that a very difficult line of logic to follow.

Accidents happen, move on. Zorko is getting from you all and the media what he wanted, a storm in a teacup.

Jeepers.
Pull it back a bit guys.
I think as a fanbase we're entitled to feel ripped off here. The AFL reviewed and cleared the incident at the start of the week which should have been the end of it. Instead Zorko whinges on the radio and the AFL decide to change their mind on how they want to view it. The worst part is this could literally cost us our season if we lose to the Crows. Zorko may have single handedly ended our season with those radio comments.

If the AFL wanted to create bad blood between the two clubs then they succeeded this week!

I am disappointed in the club for not standing with Touk and challenging the ban it’s a disgrace. By not challenging the ban it makes him look guilty.
agreed.

On top of that, we need to win every game to make finals. We need Touk. I'd rather risk not having him for 2 than just accept one. If he's not in the team this week we're unlikely so him coming back in a week is for nothing.

Of course we’re allowed to feel ripped off.

I’ve played football against Dayne ‘Tinker’ Zorko since about age 10.. I know he’s a twat. He has found new ways to remind me this week.

I’m just not sure that making remarks about someone family is very fair.

I'd make the opposite argument and say Touk almost single handedly kept our season alive with his brilliant performance in a run with role on your best player as well as being individually exceptional when he got the ball. If Zorko had not said what he did on radio this week then Touk would be lining up for us in the Adelaide game. Therefore, Zorko may have single handedly ended our season with his comments.

Fair enough. I agree that going after his family is probably a step too far.

I honestly don't understand the Club's position on this. You can't have Touk accused of squirrelling by an opposition thug and just wring your hands and say"His integrity has been tarnished".If Dorko wanted this fight we should give the embarrassing little prick a public fight.Needs a challenge

Not worth the hassle now, imo.

First, if we appeal it might be zero weeks if cleared or three weeks if found guilty. One week is light for a groin grab.
Second, if they appeal now, the appeal itself becomes a massive story b/c he would be playing this week.

What if Touk has a blinder this week and we beat the Crows, then gets suspended for 3 weeks on appeal? No good for anyone, especially if the Crows just miss the finals.

It was a joke process, but hey, welcome to the AFL factory of making stuff up.

Should just cop it and move on.
