After a sensational debut, Gold Coast Suns young gun and South Australian native Izak Rankine is “absolutely gettable” for the Adelaide Crows, according to former Crow and FIVEaa’s Stephen Rowe.

Literally said "I'm loving the Gold Coast and I Kinda don't want to go back to Adelaide" but go off Rowey you moron

DURING the COVID-19 break Suns forward Ben Ainsworth didn’t turn to streaming services like Netflix to pass the time but he didn’t get ample television time.

While the AFL season was halted the crafty small forward binged on vision of some of the most elite players who play his position in the game and studied how they played in a bid to improve.

Among the three he focused on were Sydney’s Tom Papley, GWS’ Toby Greene and Richmond’s Kane Lambert.
Ainsworth won’t need vision this Saturday, he will get a first-hand look at Papley when Gold Coast play the Swans in Round 7 of the competition at the SCG.

Players of his quality are always going to be asked the question
Izzie is way too big for Adelaide now
The enemy will be from South of the Murray or from a city with a giant coat hanger

Jack Bowes is definitely #challengeaccepted

I do believe he’s the one tHat in front of the whole playing group and coaching staff Said to Captain Bedwetter Lynch that any success he got at RICHmond would be unearned.

In years to come that will be an iconic moment.

That's why Paddy Cripps said, he could easily go back to Perth and go into a success team like the Eagles, but he would rather work hard at something at the blues to earn it with the boys there so it would mean a lot more.

I'm pretty sure David Swallow is of the same ilk.

A bit surprised people don't talk more about this goal.

8. 'The Cannon' has returned to Gold Coast

The attention has been on Matt Rowell, Noah Anderson and Izak Rankine – and with good reason. But don't sleep on how well Jack Lukosius is travelling. The former No.2 draft pick is enjoying a really promising season across half-back for the Suns, demonstrating the value of his incredible kicking skills on Saturday. If former Gold Coast defender Trent McKenzie was the AFL's first 'Cannon', Lukosius is ensuring that nickname remains at Metricon Stadium. His remarkable 55m set-shot sailed through post-height in Saturday's win over Sydney, just one of a number of pinpoint right-footed efforts he delivered with precision at the SCG. His intercept and defensive work is still improving, but what Lukosius can add offensively with his beautiful kicking ability is another important facet of the Suns' exciting potential. - Riley Beveridge

Kane Cornes claims on Footy Classified Suns have no money in the cap to recruit anyone in the off season. Says they had to pay the players too much money so there is 0 left. lol
Kinda goes against what our recruiting team have said but hey, Kane would know.

he would have connections with our coaching panel so can’t discount him completely but hope he is wrong.
