Connor Budarick was also ruled out of the match against Adelaide in the third quarter after sustaining a hamstring injury.

“Connor had Hamstring pain during the game and subsequently, has improved really well. It presents as a relatively mild injury, so Connor will be tested later this week before a call is made on his availability for Round 15.”

Joel Jeffrey has had a scan on his knee after leaving the field late in the game against Adelaide, with the results showing an injury to his lateral meniscus.“Joel injured his knee in the last quarter on the weekend that will require surgery this week to ascertain the extent of damage and address accordingly,” Bull said. “We’ll know more about Joel’s recovery timeline once his surgery is complete and can provide a further update at that time.”

In positive news, Rory Thompson returned in the VFL on the weekend for his first match since injuring his meniscus in Round 10.

Jack Lukosius remains approximately two weeks away from his return from a PCL injury he reaggravated in Round 8.

Meanwhile Josh Corbett will also be a test to return from a hip injury this week.

Give Buddas a week off.
Sucks about Joel. Maybe room for Hollands up forward now 👀
Bummed about Joel. Thought his injury was supposed to be the one with nothing to worry about. Surely has to be Hollands over Burgess to come in up forward. Although Mally might be OK this week as well. Burgo, Levi and the Cholman a bit to top heavy for my liking. Difficult decisions for the match committee.

Has to be burgess in, need a 3rd tall imo, Corbett would be ideal but Burgess has been wonderful in the twos

Yeah has to be Burgess.
Chol doesn't exactly always play like a tall.

My thoughts:

Out: Jeffrey, Powell, Budarick (maybe)
In: Burgess, Rosas, Bowes, Sharp or Atkins

While Sam Day is fit Burgess won't play another game for us

Buddders officially confirmed to do his ACL, devastated for him, but he bounced back so well from the first one I’m sure he can do it again.

On a positive note, Benny is a test for this weekend on what looked like could have been a bad ankle injury at the time and Luko made it through the VFL unscathed

That's such good news with Ainsworth.
Looked like a high ankle sprain, thought he might be out a few weeks.

Luko looked rusty as anything, but straight back in to the team IMO.
Someone like him will play much better with better players around him.
