Super Bowl Broadcast info
Fox: Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady, Erin Andrews, Tom Rinaldi, Mike Pereira
ESPN: Chris Fowler, Dan Orlovsky, Louis Riddick and Russell Yurk
World Feed:
Westwood One Radio: Kevin Harlan, Kurt Warner, Laura Okmin

Gamepass is claiming to offer "stunning picture and HDR" for the game so might be getting the full 4K HDR feed from Fox. but not sure if they are capable of 4K. and given the traffic i expect either a higher bitrate 1080p or 1440p

* No news on Ch7 for what feed they will be given, but given how the season has game unlikely to be a clean Fox feed, either Fox audio with world feed like all the other playoff games or full world feed broadcast.

I'm boycotting but not due to that.

I am forced to work 2 Sundays a year, and getting the following Monday off is a near nightmare in my current office.

1 of those Sundays? Well, 2024/25/26 - All Super Bowl Sundays. So can't get gameday off :(

****ing owned him. He's exactly right - winning MVP is more impressive than making the SB as a QB, probably even winning it
Yeah - But most people don't remember him for the MVP.

Most People remember Newton for squibbing contact when he could've tried to recover it
Most People remember Ryan for blowing a 28-3 lead.

Honestly - I can name most champions, but MVPs? Brady (2007), Ryan (2016), Newton (The year before Ryan), Jackson x2 (2023 and When???), P.Manning (When??? ...............And I think 1 was co-mvp with a RB???), Rodgers (x2???) (When??) Favre???

It's good on a resumé but do people remember it?

I know
58 - Chiefs def 49ers
57 - Chiefs def Eagles
56 - Rams def Bengals
55 - Buccaneers def Chiefs
54 - Chiefs def ???
53 - Patriots def Rams
52 - Eagles def Patriots
51 - Patriots def Falcons
50 - Broncos def Panthers
49 - Patriots def Seahawks
48 - Seahawks def Broncos
47
46 - Giants def Patriots
45
44
43 - Steelers def Cardinals
42 - Giants def Patriots
41 - Colts def Bears
40 - Steelers def Seahawks
39 - Patriots def ??? (Was either Eagles or Panthers)
38 -
37 -
36 - Patriots def Rams

That's a WHOLE lot more than MVPs. And of the 5 I forget when it was, I know 37/38 were Buccaneers (over Raiders), Patriots over the other of Eagles/Panthers. And one of 44/45/47 was Packers def. Steelers.

The fact that I know 16 of the last 23 Super Bowl games without even thinking, 2 more champions, and 3 other matchups.

Yet can only place 3 MVPs in that same period shows you that championships > Individual performances.

Beyond The greatest season of all time (Until Manning had that great season in Denver - But which year?) (Brady in 2007), the QB of my team (Ryan in 2016) and the squib the year prior (newton in 2015) are the only 3 MVP's I can place with the year they won, and I can only think of 4 other MVPs (Anyone else is an utter guess.) The only other Individual Award I can remember was Adrian Peterson Comeback player of the year coming off his ACL injury.

That'll help Lamar and Josh sleep better each off season I suppose.

It is a different ballgame once playoffs come around but Cam clearly didn't realise his record against the AFC haha.

It's not just against the AFC generically. They glaze these AFC Quarterbacks, but in the last two years we've run through Mahomes (in KC), Allen, Burrow, Jackson, Tua, Russell Wilson (LOL), i.e. the AFC's pro bowlers.

We haven't lost one of those games.

The same Cam Newton who refused to jump on a fumble in the Super Bowl, but now for some views will jump out of a moving boat onto a flying helicopter on some trashy Fox show.

Checks out.

It’s irrelevant what people remember, we’re talking about what is actually more impressive, which is the MVP.

Of course everyone wants and plays the game and remembers the rings, but those are team accomplishments

The biggest matchup of the game is Reid v Sirianni.

It's more Nagy v Fangio for me, they know each other very well so whoever can win that matchup probably wins the game.

Sirianni has been good at staying out of his own way this season so him I'm not too worried about.

It would be Reid Vs Fangio. Reid still calls the plays, and Nagy showed he isnt good at calling plays in Chicago.

Joint effort surely?
Doubt it. He can suggest plays, but quite a many HC's still call plays.

Nagy would be spending more time looking at formations and tablets to see who is winning or losing. whats being left open. but most of that conversation wont happen till half time or end of Q. otherwise its a quick word like flat is being left open or corner is playing soft/biting on PA/double moves.

most of it would be talking to players rather then Reid.

Yikes.
Belichick and now Shannon Sharpe are advocating renaming the SB MVP trophy to the Tom Brady Trophy/Award

Double yikes. Belichick and Ochocinco even said rename the Lombardi Trophy to the Tom Brady Trophy.
Smh. They can change it to the Patrick Mahomes trophy when he betters Brady in 7 years.
