This game is going to be a disappointing ratings number for ESPN for a number or reasons.

Playoff schedule needs to change. 1st round needs to move up a week, QF before Xmas Semis and new years day and national championship on the 2nd Friday or Saturday. Saturday would need them to work with the NFL and have the WC Saturday games at 1 and 4 so it's not head to head

This game should have been played 2 weeks ago.
Also having it after nfl playoff weekend, trumps swearing in was just plain stupid.

Absolute crap house coverage by the secondary there. Had them on the ropes with a third and long, yet somehow allow a WR to walk behind them. Game over.

To be fair, Notre Dame lost it in the first half. Good come back, all over Ohio State in this half, but the damage was already done. They need a new QB in the off season for sure.

Problem lies with wanting QFs at the NY6 bowls. Have first ans QF on campus and rotate the semis between different the NY6, National Championship where we had the Semis is way better. But on a friday/Saturday because this year's semis were hurt by playing on a Thursday and Friday.

Perfect world would be on campus first 2 rounds. Rotate Semis at NY6 on new years day and National Championship game at the Rose Bowl 2nd friday/Sat of Jan lined up with NFL wild Card playoffs
