Rather than create a pro bowl thread.

If no one gives enough of a shit for a pro-bowl thread to even exist, I dare say that spamming the Superbowl thread with that bullshit is going to be an unpopular move.

Only a few here are loose and amiable, so many others too triggered and sensitive

Im having dejavu with this, didnt you do something similar the last time the Eagles played in the SB? I seem to recall nobbyiscool getting pissed over you spamming something in that thread

Eagles fans always wanna bite your ankles over anything. Theyre all mentally/emotionally roided up for the SB, like they were for the Conf game. But everyone always complains about me, whatever i do, so meh

Still think pro bowl is a complete and utter waste of time.

Instead of it just have a big awards show on the weekend before the superbowl like espn awards.

Name the pro bowl, all pro plus all awards winners plus love if they did the college thing and named best at each position. Could name them after an all time great at the position.

They don't really need a game. Just announce the All-Pros and be done with it.

Something like for best player at position award.

QB - Dan Marino
RB - Jim Brown or Barry Sanders
WR - Jerry Rice
TE - Tony Gonzalez
LT - Anthony Munoz

And so on

It's an exhibition game, end of season, injury risk, big money era, so you cannot do anything with it. The players dont care. Its cool having rhe precision passing or longest throw contests, like of old, but a lot of the other skills contests are stupid, dodgeball and water balloon, cmon how lame.

Robert Edwards is the reason why their should be no pro bowl, skill challenge or anything else that could get players hurt after seasons end.

Edwards was chosen by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He rushed for 1,115 yards for the Patriots in the 1998 National Football League season, before blowing out his knee at an NFL rookie flag football game in Hawaii during Pro Bowl week. Edwards barely escaped the injury without having his leg amputated below the knee, and he was told he might not walk again. Edwards would not play football again until 2002, when he made his return with the Miami Dolphins. That was his 2nd and last season in the NFL.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid was optimistic that JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle) would be able to play in Super Bowl LVII.

"He's in the good place," Reid told reporters about Smith-Schuster. "The main thing is letting that thing calm down. We'll just see where it goes." Reid added that Toney was "close" and that Toney participated in a walkthrough this morning. It doesn't seem like there's much to worry about to this point as far as either player missing The Big Game.

Eagles designated P Arryn Siposs (ankle) to return from injured reserve.

The 21-day window for Siposs to return to the active roster is now open. Siposs landed on injured reserve following a Week 14 matchup against the Giants and was spotted in a walking boot after the game Whether or not he'll be able to kick in the Super Bowl against the Chiefs is to be determined, but the team has more than a week to evaluate him.

I can't imagine he plays, but be rapt if he does.

It’s extraordinary how no one other than the NFL (and maybe gg) gives a **** about the PB and yet the NFL insist and actually makes it worse with these dumbarse comps. Laughable
