I say the Switch is my favourite current gen console and the SNES is my favourite of all time and yet I'm still somehow an anti Nintendo fanboy... How does that make a lick of sense? xD

All this stemming from a minor gripe with a game I also thoroughly enjoy. Madness.

Have 100% the first 2 worlds and close to doing the same with the Sand Kingdom.

Purple coins are the real hidden treasures though. The last 6 on Sand Kingdom are doing my head in because i know when i find them, it'll be in a painfully obvious spot.

Thought at first with the first couple of worlds (bar the very first) they could have fleshed it out a bit more, but as I’ve gone on it just gets better and better.

They’ve absolutely nailed the Cappy transformations. The gameplay feels new but still same old Mario. They’ve done really well paying homage to the past without copying or overdoing it.

Haven’t played enough on other platforms other than Destiny in the past few years, but I would have this just ahead of BOTW on the Switch.

The Switch RRP is worthy of criticism as well many well documented issues too, but if this doesn’t get you over the line to nab a Switch, nothing will.

Haven't had much time to play yet but just got to the desert level. That moment when you realise you can posess bullet bill instead of just running away from him was something special. This game delivers.
