Is the Switch Mario pack for $549 somehow better than buying a Switch separately for $469 and the game for $69 = $538??
Yep. Got mine at Big W too, great price.Just picked it up from Big W for $62 at Marion (*shudders*) in SA. Best price I've seen.

I'm not big fan of motion controls but sometimes they work really well. Take the gyroscope controls in Splatoon for example. I hated them at first but after a few hours I got used to it and now I wonder how I ever lived without them.
They are optional, aren’t they?Don't seem like a good idea in handheld mode. At least make them optional.
As far as I can tell, it's mostly directional based stuff like throwing Cappy directly up or down. They are optional, aren’t they?
“Press Y to throw cap or shake controller.”
Which ones aren’t optional?
You can throw Cappy up or down? Is that something that gets explained in the game or do you have to discover it yourself? As far as I can tell, it's mostly directional based stuff like throwing Cappy directly up or down.

Haven't bought the game yet, just going off of reviews. It's not game breaking by any means, just an unnecessary annoyance.
