Okay. Scarf fine.

But the shirt (and cap) are increasingly becoming billboards. This years shirt looks like a NASCAR atrocity. And what is with that insideout stitching?

The 2008 shirt was easily the best.

How about just a simple Collingwood logo, and either underneath it, or on the opposite side, recognition of being a member. Even the player gear has less advertising on it.

I know it's only a minor issue, but I don't like the direction it's heading.

Still Waiting for my Hat. Might go up Wednesday Morning for the Open Training Session and then go to Westpac Center and ask about where is my 2 Hats I Ordered

The packs fine IMO, the shirt is the best part of the whole package, and the cap is 10 times better then anything we have been handed out for free over the years.

Simply put though, if you don't like it, don't buy it, although have fun finding something at the same value elsewhere.

As for Pert's comments at the AGM, I still haven't seen any improvement on the online store, or any "movement" in regards to any improvement in access to the clubs merchandise.

I mean, how would it be to set up a few stalls at markets, or even get into a partnership with a major retail store and sell our products through there?

It seems Pert and Collingwood want us to buy through them, but only if we are willing to visit the store in the city, which to me seems quite hypercritical.

My point was is that in 07-08 it was pretty much the only decent club shirt we could get without ads plastered all over it, and now the perceived "value" I had attached to that is gone. I will be checking to see what they look like before going ahead with it next year, that's for sure.

I have to agree with you about advertising. It's one thing to buy a jumper with the same logos as the players, but I dont particularly want to be a walking billboard for the club's "partners".

And I would be willing to make an exception if the supporter gear was really cheap or relatively cheap but its not. I cant see why I should pay inflated prices to advertise corporate names.

I remember buying a collingwood jumper for my son when we won the premiership in 1990. I took the advertising off the jumper and my son wasnt happy! I bought him another one this time and he made the comment beforehand not to take the advertising off. So personally, I hate all the advertising crap..

Anyone else get their certificate, key ring and voucher today?
Got mine a few days ago, although they got the years wrong, but no big deal, still a good little keyring to replace my old one.:thumbsu:

hey guys was just worrying about the sizing of the shirts? i havent purchased a supporter polo before but i get teh media polos every year. I found the 09 polo to be a much bigger size than the 08/10 versions. just not sure which size to order?

Hi guys, just wondering when we can expect our 2011 membership packs? I get the Magpie Nest each year, but usually don't sign up until about March of each year. My In-laws decided to get me the membership for Chrissy this year and so renewed it early December.

Just wondering if the pack comes out closer to season's opening or if I should have received it by now? I've been getting the emails...

Cheers, Cal

Bit of a rough pic, but can see what the OP means. You wouldn't want anymore..

Your pack shouldn't be that far away, Cal.

The shirt would cost about 2 bucks to make...its cheap like a bigw materal.. pretty poor. I guess they just had to get a shit load made up for the members in time though.

I can't beleive ppl don't like the polo. I love it amazingly. And I think the hat is the best one ever. Yes I did complain when I found out we weren't getting the hat for 'free' this year...and was adamant I wasn't paying anymore to get the pack. But then when I looked at my collection of hats over the years, I couldn't not add to it. Glad I have...I loooove the hat.

As for the sizing of the polo - they are definitley big. So if you usually wear a Medium, i'd go small. Large, I'd go Medium....you get the drift.

Also, got the certificate and medallion. Although years are wrong....my dad, cuz and I all joined at the same time...and we all have diff years...dad 16, me 14, cuz 12....will call the club to update their records.

What the ...... no free cap, what tight arses.

Got my pack and everything is now complete. Love it but shirt sizes for females is stupid. Just a cheap and nasty way to go about the sizes. They could have gone same shirt but female and male. anyway, just falls on deaf ears.

Do like the rest of it though and there is nothing like a new and clean stuff.

The scarf is like grandmas, but I bought the premiership scarf and together they look great, mix and match scarfs for the footy, fantastic.

i got my scarf and hat about a week ago with a letter sayin that my size in shirt was all out and i will have to wait also didnt get certificate or medallion

I recieved the pack yesterday, the polo is nice but different from all previous years because its not an ADIDAS polo anymore, its some no-name brand of shirt with sponsors. There is no adidas logo anywhere on the shirt, no adidas stripes on sleeve etc.

As for the scarfe, that looks cheap and nasty, last years was really nice. I wonder if they are the side by side ones reused by sticking 2011 member on them?
