Brady Rawlings wins best and fairest - 48 votes. Grant 42, Simpson 41, Wells 38, Colbert 35

Brady was not our best player , there must be a flaw in there voting system , also no Harro in the top 5 . :(

Sorry, but all 22 players receive a vote for each game played due to the new voting system (same as Collingwood).

Hence the winner will vote somewhere around 300 votes.

wrong...wait until you see it in the papers tomorrow, then come back and we'll see who is right

I must be the only one not completely suprised.

I would of had Rawlings at 4-5 though. Not suprised about Grant, Not suprised about Harro. Makey wouldnt be too far behind Colby either IMO.

I'm not suprised at all, he is a quality player and i thought he would come 2nd behimnd Simpson.

And bulldogs think they have the better Rawlings.
How many B and F's has Jade won??????

Grant in the best couple. Well, I guess players can live out their days on reputation alone.

Shannon Grant ran harder for his teammates than almost anyone on the list. He is a man who knows his limitations but is able to work to his strengths. I was happy with Shannon's work rate, but there were many areas in which he can get better - much better! I will say he was more accountable for his man than Adam Simpson was for much of the second half of the year.

And given our season, am rapt Brady won the B&F. Hardly had his colours lowered all year, and is a deserving winner. You'd just like to think that a successful year in terms of the club would produce a B&F who is not a run-with type player.

Harro not in the top 5 is a surprise. I thought his year was better than Wellsy, and I would have thought Colbert - while sensational in the games he did play - missed too many games to be a top 5 chance.

Look, I don't think he is too bad at making position and he is extremely fit and does run hard, but I would say that between himself and Boomer, manning up isn't a high priority. Also believe his disposal is nothing special any more, unlike his first 2 or 3 years at the club.

That Wellsy got within three votes of Simmo is unbelievable. Wellsy had some exciting games in the second half of the year, but Simmo was easily our best player at the half way mark. Wasn't as good late in the year, but still had some good games.

Congrats to Rawlings if this thread is on the money.
