Papley's fresh airy with the Titanic music.

(not a GIF obviously)

Add Hayward's attempt's for the trifecta. We made that win hard for ourselves, but it was an ugly needed win

Haha I meant good bits!
If we assume Papley saw Amartey, there's a quick movement of his head so I'll give him it, the lead up to Hayward's early miss was well worked, 3 great kicks from Paps, Amartey and Jordon.

Lead up to Amartey's one hander had multiple involvements from Rowy, and pressure/tackling from Heeney and Campbell. Rowy's kick was hopeful, but more penetration than a high floater at least.

Also the Lloyd to Papley to Chad to Ladhams to over the goal umpires head, shows us not just bombing it long, looking for targets.

But not really requests, we can all watch the replay, just a few good passages (admittedly Hayward missed and Bice handballed it to a Freo player in the Amartey one hander play).

How bad was the non free in the 4th against Omera when he gets tackled and drops the ball, Campbell picks it up and gets tackled then handballs it out and is called holding the ball?

Some absolute howlers against us in the last
We did all right I guess, but there was a series of three in a row - against Heeney when Draper was holding him (that was a big one, an almost certain Swans goal), a clear OOF from Freo that the boundary ump was too scared to call, and a very soft chopping vs Amiss that led to a shot - that we'd all be whinging about if the result hadn't gone right. This all happened in the space of a couple of minutes.

I was asked to stop shouting for the sake of the neighbours at that very moment

Just an observation.

As the team were coming up the race for the last run pre-game, Hanily speaks to Heeney who then points to Papley (~1 min mark).

I'm guessing Hanily thought Issac was the skipper.
Not a big deal, but do (some of) the players not know the skipper for the day until the coin toss?
I genuinely could not tell them apart, so maybe Hanily was clarifying to Heeney which Tom he was speaking to, and Heeney was pointing saying, "So wait... you're Hanily and that one's Papley right?"

Probably asking Heeney if his mum was at the ground, and what she was wearing

Reckon you're right I think it's easy to underestimate how big this experience is for a (near) first timer. He probably forgot given we were doing mix-and-match.

It’s not a crush. It is deep and lasting true love. Life will never be the same without Sir Dane.
I am with ya. Sooooo much man love for this man.
Loved his speech a few years ago at the AGM about resilience.
A go to player for lots of the team for advice.
THE backline general.
Would have made a beast of a midfielder. My biggest regret.
Can kick a ball easily 70m.
Plays on beasts of FF despite a height disadvantage.
Can run with the best mobile forwards.
Has the hair and good looks to turn a man from heterosexuality. Not saying I have. Just saying.
A leader on and off the field.
Cheeky acts like climbing goalposts do not define him but they open him up for discovery.
He is Sir Dane but he is still human. Cannot jump chained barriers. Not Superman.
He will be a loss when he heads out into the final sunset for good.
