Snagged a couple of members tickets in the Ladies' Stand so I'm heading up on the train from Wollongong. You'll spot me easily. I'll be wearing red and white.

Now that we're winning again I've got that nervous anticipation back. It was easier on my nerves when a win was a "nice to have".

Essendon rolled a pretty ordinary St Kilda under little to no pressure. They need to be respected like any opponent but I think our form card reads a lot better at the moment. Swans by 40.

I think John Longmire after Richmond said "only round 3, another game next week" has got the young Bloods grounded.
Yell loud and proud for us.

I misread that first sentence completely was close to traumatised for a minute there.

It's been dynamic watching so far this year, but oddly, this game could be the most interesting. Essendon coming off a huge win, but against a Saints team who turned in no-effort result.
Sydney coming off a monster slapdown of Richmond.

I think we’re doing this team a disservice if we’re saying the Richmond game means nothing if we don’t win tonight. They’re young and will lose eventually, and it’s likely to be when we least expect, but they do deserve a little credit so far.

Most likely last post for the year. This is the most pathetic side I have seen for quite some time. Congrats to the new kids, they’re unproven kids and this isn’t totally focused on them. There’s some talent not playing that is way better than some on that team sheet that are playing. I shake my head at Longmire and the selection committee, I really do!

I saw the tail end of the ressies practice match before the crows game. Didn't see any sign of L Taylor. Could be that he just didn't get near it.
