It's Game Day peeps, I can't find the thread.

We're just a few hours away and there are points to be won.

There's nothing we can do today about Ling's mystery ailments, the fact Horse is still our Mr Ed in the coaches' box or the idea the club might be grooming Macca to saddle up. But we're a chance to beat this mob today. If nothing else we can enjoy watching Warner face his first ball at the Gabba.

I'm hoping Lunch won't get up to injury if he plays he will kick 5 and we won't ever hear the end of how much a legend he is.

I have zero confidence in any of our games but it's our best chance to roll Richmond and watch them ECO for the season.
It will be one of the bravest performances from any team ever and one of the bravest performances from any player ever.
Truly one of the greatest gutsy wins from a team that's been truly ravaged by the unfair landscape of the AFL.
Brings a tear to my eye.

I hope he plays. Risking a marking forward with busted fingers and a heavy wet ball. That's the sort of stupid thing we usually do. ;)

Hope rain holds out or comes earlier

With there injures we really should be able to take it to them , especially in the middle with no Cotchin or Prestia.

JR seems to always trouble, also Dusty when resting forward.
I said this earlier, what do you think of Mills going to dusty, could follow him to the contest and the backline without too much fuss

Here's what I'd like to see.
A return to form for half the team -- particularly Hayward, Allir and Dawson
McInerney a late in, maybe for COR given Stoddardt can help off the half back.
If COR stays in he needs to play like it's his last game. The coaches have a lot of faith in him but he always looks like he's trying not to screw up rather than take the game on.
Hayward back up front and the forward crew to look like they are playing for each other.
A win and if not a win the feeling we have a young developing crew taking us somewhere.

I just read we have the youngest team in the league this week. Not that the commentators will have time to make any mention of it as they wax about Richmond's outs. Even with their young players this week they are still mid table for age.

Just wanna see some drive and the effort there all game. Some seemed to give up last week and I don't want that. Hoping the young kids can impress and those out of form can show something.

Also, Blakey, if you miss another set shot from 30m or less out in front again, I am going to call the club until someone agrees to give you goal kicking practice every day until the next game

Interesting looking side too.

Players who can run through the middle - in Green
"Pure defenders" - in Orange
Pure forwards - in Blue
Rucks - in Yellow

We have no tall defenders.
A 21 year old ruck/forward playing in his first few games
A tall defender playing as 2nd ruck (or maybe first)
and one out of form pure forward
