WTF Does that have to do with the disgraceful physical state he presents in now ? He is a slob and is no example for his players and the professionalism of the game. He would be better suited to playing Professional darts drinking pints of lager than Heading up a team that plays a sport where attitude in professionalism of physical preperation is imperative to an individual and team success.
Nothing wrong with being overweight post career but I agree with what you’re saying, he is not setting a very good example at all in his current condition.

I get it Mick and I agree. Nothing wrong with enjoying life after a regimented disciplined professional sporting career but letting yourself go to that stage is not a good look as an example for your players and a bloody terrible health risk for a still young man.

Underrated good sign: Dew insisted on dragging Lloyd deep to keep him away from the ball, but it didn't really affect our ball movement overall, even with Aliir out of defence. Lloyd had 16 touches and no marks but Dawson and Mills made up for it and then some.

Dew did his homework putting Harbrow on Papley and lukosius on Blakey tried to nullify 2 potent scoring options.

Well energy cannot die, so the stored energy in Pluggers body needed to find a new home when he shed it all, and did so in Stewey. :D

But there are few things uglier than someone imposing their own ideal of what a person "should be" on others IMHO. Congrats if you are ripped yourself, but not everyone wants to be you, or has your brain chemistry, or body shape. People are all different, and that's a good thing.

not sure id be as hard on him as you, but when you work at a sports club i dont get them getting so big, like hit the gym with the players once in a while surely

He prolly does hit the gym. It's the dinner table and takeaway he hits too frequently.

Still he could set an example and be a lean machine (like me). He only needs to take up darts - the smoking variety. I suppose that would set another sort of example.

There are not too many chubbsters left in footy. There is Neil Balme - a massive unit. (when Longmire goes I'd offer Balme a massive offer to be Footy Manager). Cannot think of too many others.

if they win games i dont mind what they look like at the end of the day, can wear a dildo on their head

I can guarantee you I'm no work of art by any means nor do I want anybody to emulate me in thought or deed but it does not change the fact he is an obese slob who should have some interest in his own well being.

TheMase is it you who finds the pressure act numbers I've seen posted a few times after matches this year? I'd love to know how Hayward did in that regard. If not you then I'll just go back into my cave

You can get them on the AFL App, unless these are different than the ones you're asking for.

Hewett led with 22, Hayward had 18

Yep just the AFL app mate. I don’t have a research library!

I thought you were some maester of footy stats. Turns out I’m just a potato who can’t figure out a basic app!

Haha well when I discussed the pressure act stats I did make the effort to look through each game, so I did some analysis!

How is a pressure act defined? Yesterday Ramps put off a GoCo player having a set shot by running and carrying on (presumably saying more than chewy on ya boot). Was that a pressure act?

if the opposition player starts to hear david bowie in their head then they are under pressure

Got this from an article about a player regarding pressure points. The conditions still apply however (as the pressure acts contribute to the pressure points).

Champion Data measure four levels of pressure players can apply; corralling, chasing, closing and physical.

Each level is worth a certain amount of points, which is worked out by how much harder it is for the opposition to record an effective disposal from that pressure, compared to when they are under no pressure.

Corralling, when the player guards a space so an opponent is limited with his run and where he can go, is worth 1.2 points.

Chasing a player from behind and gaining ground is worth 1.5 points.

Closing a player down from in front or to the side of his disposal is worth 2.25 points.

And, physical pressure – when a player gets a hand to a player while he is disposing of the ball – is worth 3.75 points.

Therefore, it's possible for a player to record a high number of pressure acts but accumulate a low number of points, if the acts aren't specifically closing or physical.

As for Rampe not sure. Pressure points is obviously a paid for statistic. It would give you a lot more information than just the pressure act itself, would be interesting.

Actually Rose tapped the ball to Ronke and kept running confusing the defenders and creating space for Ronke to kick the goal. Rose has tendered to be selfish and some of the Reserves watchers might comment on how that went in the twos. I think they played him in the midfield a lot to get him into being more of a team player. From the past couple of games he's improved. I didn't think he'd get another game and would be de-listed at the end of this year so he's certainly exceeding expectations!
Have to agree 100%.
Pretty selfish in the 2s, but I have been impressed with his output in the 1sts!
I guess his attitude to 'easy' footy was overshadowing his ability to play in the big show.

Ordinary game, particularly first half, but good to play the game out and really close it strongly.
Barney I think the game was made worse by the way Sun's were playing it. They scrapped. They came out to smother our run on and fast movement and did so in the first half.

In the second half we changed a few things and played some tempo footy using Dawson as the main kicker and he delivered beautifully, cutting their defence to shreds. Our mids and running players provided far more and Aliir was able to exploit Witts' lack of agility. This opened play up and caught their defenders lacking.

This photo summed up up the game for me after the frustrating first half
McCartin took marks in the back line, Papley kicked goals, Heeney seemed to be all over the ground, Reid and Aliir's efforts in the ruck, ... 703760
