Over passing near goal shits me

How often do we go for a short pass and turn it over

More players who have the confidence to have a shot the better

True but its also to use the best option...when he had the ball in the play that kennedy got his goal, he did not give the ball up until he had no other choice and burnt heeney for an open goal
I’d burn Heeney too because Kennedy was the best option. If he was selfish, wouldn’t he have blazed away?

Actually Rose tapped the ball to Ronke and kept running confusing the defenders and creating space for Ronke to kick the goal. Rose has tendered to be selfish and some of the Reserves watchers might comment on how that went in the twos. I think they played him in the midfield a lot to get him into being more of a team player. From the past couple of games he's improved. I didn't think he'd get another game and would be de-listed at the end of this year so he's certainly exceeding expectations!
My bad, I thought he nearly cocked it up.

It only stands out to me because its common for Florent to be called classy which I don't see (by foot) very often. His run and carry is very good though.

We know Parker in tight is a bombs away player, in general play he is decent. Kennedy is a pretty bad kick especially as he gets older. Hewett is a surprisingly good kick, and Jones is a week by week prospect.

Its just uncanny how often Oli will try to hit a half-forward lead and it consistently hits the same spot of grass 1 metre in front of the lead.

I like Florent its just become a pet peeve of mine now.
That inconsistency is also seen in Heeney's kicking at times when under little pressure, but we've also seen that they can hit their targets.

It may possibly be a case of composure/balance rather than actual skills. Leppitsch in an interview previously on open mike attributed rance's improved kicking skills not necessarily to skills work but to better balance that came with maturity/age.

Jones was frustrating yesterday. Overall I am absolutely a fan of his, but I just wish he would take the options available instead of continually trying to bite off more than he could chew.

Continually ran into tackles because he unsuccessfully took on the tackler.

Some weeks they come off and he looks a million bucks

I back him in most times

Hope he stays

Need speed and willingness

Oh I agree and I wouldn’t want to stop him taking players on, I just wish he could improve his decision making on when and who to take on.

Hopefully that’ll come with time.

I couldn’t be the only one who appreciated the symbolism of Clarke’s (aka the worst handball I can ever recall seeing) replacement just casually passing it backwards over his head to Aliir late in the game under pressure.

If the kid keeps that up, it’s nail-in-the-coffin type stuff for Clarke IMO.

Yep. Love his hardness and effort, and he often pulls it off, but I’m not convinced he’s the sharpest tool in the box, our Zak.

Mills, like Reid before him was always going to come good. No surprise. Reason. You only need to look at what they were doig before their injury. Was always just a matter of time. None of this 'he's a spud, trade him' stuff...before they even had a chance for a few contiguous blocks...

Melican is also starting to play better as he gains confidence given his time out, though unlike reid who's had several more yrs in the system, he will remain somewhat less consistent whilst having to constantly go up against the hulking big boys whilst still developing.

I think winning a grand final off your own boot speaks for itself.

WTF Does that have to do with the disgraceful physical state he presents in now ? He is a slob and is no example for his players and the professionalism of the game. He would be better suited to playing Professional darts drinking pints of lager than Heading up a team that plays a sport where attitude in professionalism of physical preperation is imperative to an individual and team success.
