It musn't be terribly good if he can't make it for the game after having a week off. Not sure what the rush was with him coming straight back in for the Port game. Hopefully they'll be more circumspect going forward.

Maybe it was the old play him now with a jab and give him 3 weeks off to recover. 3 weeks is a lot more than 2 weeks for injuries like that.

Daniel Bradshaw (knee) test
Tadhg Kennelly (knee) test
Craig Bolton (achilles) 3 weeks
Mark Seaby (ankle) 4 weeks
Jake Orreal (back) season

Great to see both Seabs and Craig under a month. If we can get Tadhg and Bradshaw playing consistently (who knows if that will actually happen) and get them back in with the other 2, that gives us a huge experience and quality boost for our run into the finals, which is tough (we play the Dogs, Freo, Hawks and Cats).

I'm not holding my breath for either Bolton or Seaby. I'll be happy if they can both get a couple of games under their belts before finals.

I thought Bradshaw was out because of the knee but just read he is having scans on his hammy on monday, I hope we can get him right soon.

AC joints are a huge bugger. They are so debilitating. Saps all of the strength from your tackling and really limits your movement. Either need to let it rest for a few weeks or get it ridiculously strapped and padded to protect it.

Craig Bird (foot) - 2-3 weeks
Craig Bolton (achilles) - 3-4 weeks
Daniel Bradshaw (hamstring) - 2-3 weeks
Matt O’Dwyer (shoulder) - 1-2 weeks
Jake Orreal (back) - season
Henry Playfair (back) - indefinite
Gary Rohan (ankle) - 1-2 weeks
Mark Seaby (ankle) - 3-4 weeks

4 new additions, all of whom are either senior players or fringe seniors side players.

It just got tougher, especially with Bradshaw's new injury.

Finally, an answer to the Currie absence. Heath joins the injury list. Bolton, Bradshaw and Seaby have not improved from last week.

I read today on the AFL site that Bradshaw's having another arthroscope on his knee?? The poor bloke's a mess!

This is a very depressing list.

  • LRT is listed as 2-3, even though Roos said he should be back for the Geelong game
  • Bird's actually gotten worse, from 1 week to 1-2 weeks.
  • Seaby and Bolton haven't moved
  • Bradshaw only moved from 2-3 weeks to 2 weeks

Gary Rohan said at the aftermatch that he could have played but they decided to give it one more week and by the sounds of it he will be in.
