AFL EXHIBITION MATCH AT NORTH SYDNEY OVAL
Tickets to the AFL exhibition match at North Sydney oval between the Sydney Swans and Essendon Bombers, on Sunday February 16th from 4pm, went on sale this morning through Ticketek outlets.
This annual event has become a very popular fixture in Sydney's AFL calendar, attracting just under 12,000 to the picturesque oval last year, and is the first match the clubs play each year.
Essendon will fly their full squad up for the match so AFL fans will see the full compliment of players from both clubs in action.
This year the match is being promoted as an AFL Family Day for both the Sydney Swans and Essendon. Pre-match the Essendon Bombers and Sydney Swans players will be presented to the crowd at 2pm. This will be followed by an AFL Auskick clinic and autograph session from 2.30-3.30pm.
At half time a "Smoking. Don't be a Sucker" fitness exhibition will take place on the oval.
Tickets are available from Ticketek by phoning 9266 4800, on the internet at www.ticketek.com, through Ticketek outlets, or on match day unless sold out prior.
Prices are: Adult GA $10, Children under 15 free, Pen/Student $5 and Family GA (2 adults and 2 children) $20.
Stand seating is available also in the Bob Stand and O'Reilly Stand - Adult Stand $15, Child Stand $5, Pen/Student Stand $8, and Family Stand $35.
The above prices does not include the Ticketek booking fee.
