What I find funny from the *Essendon nuffies is that by having *Watson sign a new contract it now gives them confidence everything will be ok??

Of course he would sign anything put in front of him - he is hoping if he gets a 2 year ban he will still get paid out his contract. The new drug cluase he placed in his contract should send alarm bells - not confidence.

As will the clause that in the circumstance that he is cleared of drug charges but most of his teammates are suspended and *Essendon is unable to field a team, not only can he be paid out, but he also gets to nominate the club of his choice to be traded to.
