As this thread states, it is always lauded as a "decision" to get out of pokies when a club goes that way, but it is also a decision to stay in them too and the clubs aren't stuck with decisions made by former boards of thirty odd years ago.

Love our club so much for doing this before it was cool.

Any of the "Big Clubs" who are still in pokies, really better park their sh!t talk about us being a charity case, with handouts from the AFL etc. 16 years out of pokies and 12 years of continuous profit. Have to reach for "years without winning a final" to find a stat that * can beat us on a streak like that!
