NZ were abit hard done in just about every other top nation got minnows first to hit the ground running, they got the two hardest match ups straight away.

Which means they should have been better prepared.

They got destroyed by Afghanistan, it's fair to say the best two teams in the group are going through.

Yeah it would have helped if we had played Uganda or PNG earlier as a warm up before we played Afghanistan and the Windies.

Having said that we still should have been good enough to have beaten at least one of Afghanistan or the Windies regardless.

Which means they should have been better prepared.

They got destroyed by Afghanistan, it's fair to say the best two teams in the group are going through.

It was hard to prepare when some of our players were involved in the IPL which finished just before this T20 World Cup started.

Other teams like Australia and India had the same problem but they got to play easier teams like Oman and Ireland first up.

Not that I think they would have won, but that lazy runout that triggered another 3 wickets in 1 and a bit overs really killed PNG's chances to post a competitive total.
