Not sure you can ping them for points, strong 1 point contingent and will drop 9 points from the grand final, even if the scale point system is in effect they have 5 points to play with. O'Hara 4 points max, possibly 3. Plus they've got a strong twos full of local 1 pointers who can hold down a spot if they're short on points. Pretty awesome to see how they've built after wasting all the castles cash and getting no where.

Ohara would be huge for them as well will bring spectators through the gate

Couldn’t play lingham is last years grand final because of too many points. Hearing mcintosh a chance to go to ovens and Murray. Lose a 1 pointer gain a 4 pointer. Can’t really get any other recruits and couple players still have to play reserves as they won’t fit in

The TDFL standard is dropping but so are most minor country football leagues around the country.

Tough one I haven’t personally been out to Hume league, but you see just from ladder top 5-6 teams all close, but hard to say

Should do premier vs premier as a pre season match, similar to 2020 when Osborne & Thurgoona played at Cudge

I reckon Hume league is way better. Don’t really have sides that get beaten my 200+ points every week and I think Osborne and Holbrook would beat yack and chiltern etc

would say the grounds have a fair bit to do with it, Hume doesn't seem to get as wet, grounds a bit bigger too.

One thing everyone can agree on is that the Sandy Creek surface shits all over the crap they dish up out at Walbundrie for finals.

The grounds absolutely play a role. Don't see a lot of running bounces in the TDFL!

So hard to gauge, if it’s played this side of river tdfl put a strong team in and then if it’s over there it’s the opposite, be great spectacle to be played at sports ground or lavi ground
