I was at the game, I was watching it, I've talked to the relevant people. I'm not just taking his word for it at all.

So ... he says he's OK, but we put him in cottonwool on the basis that something might happen. Gotta say that doesn't tell us much at all, does it? When do we actually find out what happens when he's playing under duress? In a match where it counts, rather than one that's already lost?

do yourself a favour and watch a replay and then come onto this thread and tell me that I'm wrong that the doc at 3/4time was rubbing down the very part of the hammy (lower) that copped the strain. I know what I saw and am not taking this propaganda BS from the club, lets face it our club doesnt have a great track record of being up front and honest

Hes coming off a long layoff, something (albeit slightly) is NQR, we are 10 goals down... whats there to think about????? FFS, why not put him in cotton wool and give him a good 9 days to make sure its right? makes perfect sense.

mismanaged

Not sure if I heard this correct as SEN is on in the background and I wasn’t really paying attention. But Tambling hasn’t really slept in the last 3 days as his wife has just had a kid. Did anyone else hear this? It would explain why he was crap today as he is much better than that.

People should get off his back, he started to play great footy last year and might just blossom if every one got behind him and gave him some confidence. No one in any field in life can perform at their optimum if they are constantly being put down, especially by their own. Cut him some slack and get behind him. Go Tambo:thumbsu:

What an absolute load of crap. This bloke has now played almost 80 games of senior AFL football. He has got 20+ posessions in only 4 of them. NOT F&*)(^N GOOD ENOUGH!!!! He lacks awareness, he makes dumb decisions, he doesn't go for the hard ball, his disposal is crap, and he is mentally week. Time to cut our losses and ship him off. The selection committee is a disgrace for picking him if he wasn't fully fit. Another pathetic example of professionalism from the RFC.

There was talk of Tambling not being 100% after his partner gave birth 72 hours ago and he hasn't slept...

Sorry, but that doesn't cut it with me. If he wasn't 100% - HE SHOULD NOT HAVE PLAYED. Put in a kid who actually wants to be there and give him a go rather than risk a senior player who isn't in peak condition, especially against a top side like the Dogs.

ARRGGH!!!!
Every week, every player picked on merit. FFS Hughes, Vickery, Post, Putt and Gourdis all played not for Coburg but Coburg 2nds on weekend!! Why not same for Tambling and Edwards? We have plenty of ready-made replacements. Collins for one (kicked 4 goals on weekend), Nahas (5 goals), Coughlan, Connors, Thomson (have we forgotten him??). And this is before we get to serial offenders in McMahon and to a lesser degree JON

Every coach has a love child that he plays for reasons that are not related to football whatsoever. Fortunately Collingwood did not burn a 3rd overall pick to get theirs. Instead ours came off the rookie list and is now a fully fledged hack on our senior list regularly getting a game - name - Alan Toovey.

:eek:Why was Nahas dropped in the first instance???? Was working into the game nicely in the second half v Geelong and we go and kill his momentum!!!!
Collins must be close ... and Connors, well I've given up on him getting a game. Trade him to Geelong and be done with him and watch him burn!!!
Our coiaching panel seems to have no clue re identifying talent!!
