Garland won't play another game though Jack will. If Garland can't get in a team thats zip 9 with half their list injured it doesn't look good for the future for him even if he is developing.

Huge call to make there champ. Garland only got serious about footy a few years ago, so he has a lot of development left in him. Also, key position forwards often take a few years to mature. How about you wait til he has been in the system a few years (at least 2) to make a judgement like that. I know you love your Jacky boy but there is no reason to compare them, they are two totally different footy careers, coming from different backgrounds with very diverse expectations.

By the way, how many games have the tigers won? And it took jack until round 9 to get a gig, whereas Colin played in round 4? You have just contradicted yourself a bit there...

If you didn't come out of Clarence you are not going to make it in AFL footy...surely everybody knows thats the sensible rational thinking from the Eastern Shore.

All I can say that the greatest footballer to ever come out of Tassie is a New Norfolk boy whom goes by the name of Peter Hudson.

And Garland will get another chance, perhaps this year, perhaps not. Doesn't matter. What matters is he's played an AFL game. One more than I, Benny or the great Kempoz Kings will ever play.

Some people just like rubbing it right in:D . Are you still in Melbourne? haven't seen your name in the papers lately.

Oz- Have you found out anything yet about the Umpires Versus Ross game yet?

Benny - Enlighten us then - have you played an AFL game or even a local game?

How do you know that i haven't played a game Eagle?

Well as I don't know who you are, you're right I don't know.

However as you are a Adelaide supporter and, from memory, I can't recall a Tasmanian ever being drafted to Adelaide, I can only speculate you haven't played AFL. Of course I'm assuming you haven't moved to Tassie afterwards.

Anyway, you are a Clarence Boy. If you had played AFL you would have let us know by now, with the roo boys being modest and all.

I don't really barrack for Adelaide i just selected that team cause they were first. I am really a Melbourne supporter.

And i know a few Clarence people, i wouldn't say i am a clarence boy.

Its been a very slow week in news, but is now being sped up by everyones thoughts of you eating that humble pie. So i would like to thank you for being wrong not only about Garland but Devine aswell.

Ok I was wrong with the Adelaide-Tassie analogy........

Until Benny can prove us wrong, he never played AFL. Therefore Colin Garland has played one more AFL game then he ever will.

a bloke by the name of romano negri played there as well i think
Played 8 games for the Crows in their inaugural team (1991) as first ruckman.
Played in the old TANFL for North Hobart for a fair few years and if my memory serves me correctly was married to or a partner of Wendy Kennedy, former television show host and weather girl on WIN, this was prior to her TV days.
He went to play in the SANFL about a year or so before the Statewide League started up, was first ruckman at Woodville then all of a sudden bobs up in the Adelaide Crows team which was a surprise to many, because a lot never rated him in the TANFL.
Had a brother Carlos that also played for North Hobart for several years in the 80's.

How do you want me to prove it. I played 23 games over a 3 year period 1999, 2000 and 2001 and no i didn't play for Adelaide.

So, with all this talk of a Tassie SOO side, happening, not happening... anyone wanna have a crack at one would look like?
Just curious as to who we'd have lining up, I cant think off the top of my head who's Tassie players in the AFL anymore, besides the obvious haha

Well let me re-phrase my earlier quote.

Colin Garland has played one more AFL game then myself, Kempoz Kingz and Barge will ever play!

My apologies Mr. Beams.
