I'd assume that GWS would have earmarked that pick 48 for the Jed Lamb trade. I think we would be looking to hold onto 67 for the potential Karnezis trade too. We could do worse than spend a 4th rounder on a player with decent potential rather than use it in a shallow draft. Am happy to get Karnezis on board.

I don't watch much VFL these days but is teher a better option like a Sam Dwyer in any of the state leagues? That is what Hine would be weighing up.

I'd prefer to keep Shaw who is a proven star and our best defender and keep our pick 10 thanks. Shaw is durable and has plenty of good footy ahead of him. Shaw is worth MORE than Adams imo.. I don't understand the argument the we should provide a sweetener. If anything should be the other way round.

Agree re no need for a sweetener but Shaw is not our best defender, I'd take Reid over him every day of the week...
