I would have thought the meaning of my comment was fairly clear CLA - if max makes it we have one ruck too many.

If max can make it I don't think it will be taylor that will be moving on.

If Max can make it, i am certain it will be Taylor to go. He's a one-dimensional player that doesn't seem to have improvement left in him.

Renouf on the other hand at least has potential and can offer something to compliment Campbell and Bailey.

I thought you might have had some insight, rather than just being speculative.

If Max makes it, I would have thought one of Taylor or Walsh would be more likely to go first.

Perhaps sometimes I don't find the need to go into detail why I don't like a particular player.

Renouf for me.

Everyone seems to want taylor in the ruck atm. I agree to some what. But most of you also say Renouf has alot of potential.

Why not put Renouf in over Taylor and lets see if that potential can be realised. The quicker we do this the quicker we may have a good ruckman on our hands. ATM Big bob is the only good ruckmen on the books.

Its a waste of time having someone like taylor rucking. He isnt learning anything anymore, what we see now is what we gonna get for another 5 -7 years. How soon we forget all the free kicks he gives away and turnovers etc.

GIVE RENOUF A CHANCE!

Renouf has a lot of upside to his game and sure he gets a little lost the odd time, but when campbell gets back to the ruck (when gilham returns) he will learn what rucking is all about and where to position himself.


Sure taylor can ruck better, other than that his skills are scarey; turns over the ball way too easy, hardly pressures and chase and gives away too many free kicks.

Sure Taylor can win the ruck taps more so than renouf and so he bloody well should, for seven years on the list he should be more serviceable to the team than he is............. Lift ya game Tails!

And taylor has generally been taking the first ruck for most of the year - in one game he did not play sydney had a record number of hit outs against us.

To be fair to Renouf, in the next game against the Kangaroos he held his own very well for three quarters before tiring in the ruck (forcing Roughead to ruck most of the last quarter) against H-Mac. The Roos are not travelling very well but McIntosh is having a great season so it was a very good effort from Renouf to compete pretty well against McIntosh.

Doesn't change the fact though - renouf is barely adequate currently as even the 2nd ruckman on field (and has had a number of off field issues).

Hopefully he should improve, but he still has a long way to go.

From all reports Walsh sems to be doing ok for BH. Do people feel that is his form continues, he should be given a chance to test himself at AFL level?

I haven't seen Walsh play this season but I thought he was undersized for an AFL ruckman?

I don't know much about him, but I hear he can take a grab.

Is he a decent hit-out ruckman?

I think Renouf could be the next Dean Cox. His disposal is very good and he's very athletic. Leap is fantastic too.
