They had live cross with Shawny Mac on before the game. Interview lasted all of fifteen seconds.

He said there is a good vibe at Freo. C'arn boyz.

Im ashamed to say, during the geelong game i couldnt help it and found myself saying a couple of times, Woweeee how good are we playing.
Not a fan of BT and his woweee but for some reason i had to say it.
Exciting game when you are up and flying in a final, taking down the most arrogant team in the comp away from home? Doubt anyone could ruin that with commentary. :D

BT has long been my favourite commentator, but I'm fairly sure he must've been holding a sizeable betting ticket on the Cats last weekend!
My take on this week's game.... Kep should be playing. Also - Crowley must be given a shot at Dangerfield first. Surely no real harm done if it's not working. Just return to usual and blanket Thompson. Seems odd that the best tagger in the country has not yet been given the job on the Crows MOST damaging player this season. Really, Dangerfield with 25 possessions will generally hurt you far more than Thompson having 40!

I too would like to see it, BUT, there could be great harm if it's not working. Both are clearance machines for Adelaide, Crowley's chances of stopping Thomo are fairly good, his chances against Danger are questionable and an unknown at best. If both get off the leash, then we're in massive trouble.

Fixed.

Edit - Geelong and West Coast are the only teams arrogant enough to say they could win the flag from outside the eight this ear.

Are you referring to the article about Adam Selwood?

It would be a disgrace if any member of any club came out and openly wrote themselves off prior to a match. o_O

Nah thats wrong, McPharlin didn't play last time

IN: Sandilands, Clarke, Fyfe, Silvagni
OUT: Griffin, Keplar, Neale, Roberton

Wow, that's an upgrade with every in. Obviously Kepler and Clarke offer different things but I think after beating Geelong you'd have to trust he knows what he's doing with that change.

If all four teams playing this weekend play as they did last week, should be two WA sides in the Prelims which is great. Best of luck tonight guys.

Hi guys, hope you don't mind the intrusion.

Best of luck tonight, really hoping you play well. Will be cheering you on after footy training this arvo.

Noticed yesterday that Sanderson said that Rutten will spend the most amount of time on Pavlich. I'd be thinking this is a win for you blokes, if you can keep the forward 50 open like last week and have some good delivery, Pavlich should be too quick on the lead for Rutten. Hopefully he creates enough opportunities to kick a bag.

Cheers lads!

I am in positive mode so I am not going to discuss the past or my negative perceptions on what Clarke has not done in the past. I am a fan of Clarke. He does possess the X factor, and he could be almost anything. I can only hope he can show his willingness to contest and tackle in finals footy.

If he can contibute 75% of Kep's efforts in every contest then the decision will be warranted. I want to see Clarke attempt to knock himself and attack every ball in the air. I want to see him run in straight lines time and time again. I want to see him hold his tackles and run to space even if he is no chance of getting the ball to take defenders away from the mighty Pav. He is an athlete, so lets see it fella.

Go Dockers!

Clarke is included for his superior pressure acts, he averages way more tackles than Bradley and sticks them too. On top of that he's better in the ruck and could quite literally run Jacobs into the ground and/or Tippett.

After a massive season, Jacobs in the past few weeks has shown signs of slowing up. Tippett too has failed to recapture his early season form post-concussion. With Sandi pretty damn fresh and Clarke with a point to prove we can definitely exploit their ruck division with this match-up.

Morever, we can stretch their depleted defence by rotating the two in the forward 50. Clarke just needs to convert his opportunities in front of goal.

7 tackles in his last game vs North. Thought he stiff to get dropped tbh, thought he played his role.
