Just a question, why in 2023 was purple not considered too close to brown and gold for us to wear our home jumper yet in the 2013 GF it was???? I think it had something to do with them not letting us wear purple shorts but we could have worn white shorts like today.

We have had only 1 opening game at Optus. In 2019 vs North. 1 in 6 years. And we’ve only had 1 final game at Optus. 2018 vs Pies.

So out of 12 opening/closing games at Optus, we’ve only had 2. And nothing for the past 4 years.

I honestly haven’t paid it any attention. I just remember hearing on ABC this sort of thing was decided and agreed upon between the clubs so we’re obviously ok with it
