Thought process with Saad is he gets the ball and nobody knows where the hell he is going.
Love him as a player but as a coach he would drive you mental.

Maybe 5 years ago. Saad is one of our most reliable defenders and rarely goes on his long runs anymore.

Thoughts

McCarthy and Hipwood sacrifice their game to play their role and are exceptional team first players, neither of them has been in trouble off field from what I can recall.

Naughtons role this year was turned into a selfless one, bringing other teammates into the game with his one percenter efforts.

The idea of the thread is fine but this is way off the mark. Laughable in fact.

Naughton changed his position when requested by the coach. He’s also changed how he plays to accommodate for Darcy and JUH, does so much more running to create space for the other talls and provides great pressure on the ground. Not sure how he’s uncoachable

Only player I'd remove from that list is Cadman. Young emerging fwd coming along nicely. Doesn't do enough but too early to judge him yet.

It's an interesting idea.
I don't know enough about many of the teams, but for my team surely it must be Toby who, we all acknowledge has gifts, and his particular devils. While the commentatoe community is fully supportive and even hagiographical about him, I think his captaincy on the field is flawed, and he continues to make foolish decisions.
