His midseason form before his hammy was fantastic saw enough for meI'm still not sold on Harmes but by all accounts he's in ripping condition so certainly grabs a bench spot, as you have him.

People seem to forget his 27 disposal 4 goal game that was good enough to pip the Bont for 3 votesI'm still not sold on Harmes but by all accounts he's in ripping condition so certainly grabs a bench spot, as you have him.
At this stage looks like two new players game 1. Sam Davidson first gamer and Matt Kenedy. Hopefully but probably unlikely no injuries with 7 weeks to go, Jamarra is the only starting 22 not available.
If Khamis isn't playing down back he isn't playingB: Bramble Jones JOD
HB: Dale Lobb Freijah
C: Davidson Liberatore Williams
HF: West Naughton M.Kennedy
F: Weightman Darcy McNeil
Foll: English Bont Richards
Int: Sanders Garcia Dureya Khamis
Sub: Harmes
I'm sure Vanders will be in the team but he's not in mine. I have Khamis in the team to play as another forward option and also chop out ruck, sounds like this role will go to Gardner instead. Sanders to get get much more mid with Trealor out, Garcia as well. Still looks like a pretty good side on paper despite the outs.
My rolling 23 has a few changes
FB. JOD Jones Duryea
HB. Freijah Lobb Dale
C. Williams Sanders Harmes
HF. M.Kennedy Naught Davidson
FF. Weightman Darcy West
R. English Bont Richards
INT. Bramble Garcia VDM Libba
Sub Gags
Surely Jones + Lobb + JOD + Buss is too tall down back?FB: JOD, Jones, Bramble.
HB: Dale, Lobb, Freijah.
C: Williams, Kennedy, Gallagher.
HF: West, Naughton, English.
FF: Weightman, Darcy, Sanders.
RR: Crossely, Bont, Richards.
I/C: Libba, Garcia, Busslinger, Harmes.
Sub: Duryea.
Well, that’s that problem solved. Go Buss.Surely Jones + Lobb + JOD + Buss is too tall down back?
We will have Gardner if the coaching staff is still unsure about BussWell, that’s that problem solved. Go Buss.
No chance we role out Lobb/JOD/Buku as our KPDBased on injury, unavailability of Treloar, JUH, JJ, L.Jones, I’ll go something like:
B: Duryea JOD Buku
HB: Dale Lobb Freijah
C: Williams Libba Davidson
HF: Weightman Naughton M.Kennedy
F: West Darcy A.Jones
R: English Bont Richards
I/C Sanders, Garcia, Bramble, Harmes
Sub: Buss or Gardner
In contention: VDM, Gags, McNeil
I disagree. I think it's by far the most likely option. I doubt we trust Buss in a key role from round 1.No chance we role out Lobb/JOD/Buku as our KPD
Buss is the only one with the potential for the physicality of it the only issue is we didn't blood him last year to gauge his ability at the level,I disagree. I think it's by far the most likely option. I doubt we trust Buss in a key role from round 1.
JOD is viewed here as more of a third tall but in my personal opinion, his best football by far has been played in taller roles.
They were bad, no question. I don't rate Khamis and think the jury is still out on JOD. But Dear's play style is much smaller than his height, and exactly what I'm talking about re: JOD being better against less mobile opponents.Buss is the only one with the potential for the physicality of it the only issue is we didn't blood him last year to gauge his ability at the level,
JOD vs Dear and Buku vs Fogarty last year were disastrous burying our heads in the sand and hoping they suddenly become exponentially better as genuine key defenders is a great worry for me
I think JOD will make it as more of a 2nd KPD where as Buss from his improvement I saw in the 2s last year has more of the traditional full back skillset,They were bad, no question. I don't rate Khamis and think the jury is still out on JOD. But Dear's play style is much smaller than his height, and exactly what I'm talking about re: JOD being better against less mobile opponents.
I'd be happy to see what Buss can do with an opportunity, but with us looking like fielding a less experienced squad than we'd like to with at least one other debutant, I really don't think we're going to give a 20yo key defender their first run at it.
Disagree, there's a decent chance those are the three we roll out, definitely not "no chance". In fact we rolled those three out as our KPDs last year when Jones went down.No chance we role out Lobb/JOD/Buku as our KPD
