An American citizen would have to be aged 47* to have been old enough to have voted in a presidential election that DID NOT have either a Bush** or a Clinton involved.

If Hillary Clinton secures the Democratic nomination in 2008 and wins the election, and logically seeks re-election, this streak will continue until 2016! Also W's brother, Florida Governor Jeb Bush, could be a candidate to help keep this streak intact.

Providing Jeb doesn't run in 2008, the Clintons and Bushs would have only faced off in one of these seven elections. That was in 1992 with Clinton preventing Bush Senior from gaining a second term.

** Bush Senior was Reagan's Vice President hence included in 1980 and 1984.

There are only two "doubly landlocked" countries, i.e. countries that not only don't have a coastline but are surrounded by countries that are also without coastlines.

These two countries are: Liechtenstein and Uzbekistan.

From 1938 to 1945, no doubly landlocked countries existed; this is because Uzbekistan was part of the Soviet Union and Austria was a part of Nazi Germany, meaning Liechtenstein bordered one country with a coastline.

IIRC - it was reported at the time of this claim that for this to be true he would have to be averaging more than 1.4 different women a day since the age of 15.

Physically it would be very easy to accomplish this but logistically it would be a nightmare. Where would you find 10 new women EVERY WEEK for 40 years? You would run out of willing women in a given city and be needing to relocate every few years! The new generation of willing women would not be numerous enough to sustain the average in a given city. He needs to find 10 new women every week but there would not be ten new girls turning 18 every week who'd be willing to sleep with him in any given city. Perhaps he picked up the slack on his holidays and he had 50+ in a fortnight in Miami or Hawaii. He must have spent plenty of time "vacationing".
