Man that takes me back. The original game and the sequel on Nintendo 64 remain my favourite all-time video games. I just wish I could wipe my memory of them and start all over again, oblivious to where every single Jiggy is. Unfortunately I'm too much of a tightarse to go out and buy an Xbox360 so I can play the third game, despite actually owning a copy.
And yeah, unless you are a cartoon bear, Banjo is a shit name.

Good video though. There's a game on GBA that was set between the original and Tooie, was pretty good from memory although it only had five worlds.

Tooie was great, but I hated how by the end of the game it was too easy because of all the cheats the spell book would give you. Banjo was bulletproof by the end. I actually beat Tooie before I beat Kazooie; Grunty was much harder to defeat in the first one.
I wouldn't have been able to enter the Grunty Industries level if it wasn't for the old video game hint hotlines. I would never have figued that out as my 10-year-old self. The train - GENIUS.
