I remember when they first became fashion in perth. 1982. Went from tight shorts (sort of like footy shorts size) to king gee baggies. As bad as they look now they were a vast improvement.

There does not exist a temperature where the arms require being unencumbered yet the legs are totally covered in cloth.

Let's think about this.

Do you think shorts and a shirt is the same temperature, as shorts and a jumper?

Or maybe it is possible that a shorts and a jumper, is actually a bit warmer than a shorts and a shirt! Someone, notify the press!

Also, some people find they have warmer legs than arms, and vice verca.
