No he won't. He will then have to find the tempo in the ones again. Give him a couple of weeks at least before passing judgment.

I'm pretty sure that Walker has been the longest serving current player yet to play finals. Would love him to get the opportunity.

I wasn't aware that he was the longest serving player to have not yet played finals. I would slso love to see him have the chance.

Has Fev played finals?
Yes, 5 finals in 2000 and 2001.

Come to think of it, I doubt Wiggins would have played finals either. Don't think he played much in 2001.

Actually I am further wrong. Waite hasn't played finals and his first season was 2002, although he did not debut until 2003. Sadly he still won't play finals this year.

So the official answer seems to be, in terms of longest time on our list without playing finals:

1. Wiggins
2. Waite
3. Walker

I blame the internet.

What about T-Bird & Simmo? T-Bird debuted in 2002 & Simmo in 2003.

Well you just stuffed up my www internet joke.

Simmo is behind those 3 but Thornton slots in at 2.

you have got to be ****ing kidding me!!!!
first game back from a shoulder injury were he was out for a whole year, what do you expect, honestly **** off. Walker was fine and will be a star if his body allows him. Close this thread give him time, for someone who has gone through what he has gone through with his shoulders, he doesnt need ****ers like you bagging him. Its so obvious to tell you'r a bandwagoner so just **** off!
Walker will never be a star. How many years have you continuously said the same thing only to see him fail miserably?

Definite possibility for best 22.

Is that your best shot......Do you watch games of VFL and AFL the jump in standard is massive...even if he went back to "gain confidence" it would take him just as long to pick up the tempo of AFL again.

Tex has exceeded expectations and made it back onto the paddock this year through sheer hardwork, dedication and determination. If every Carlton player worked as he does in preparing themselves then we would be a top 4 side - unfortunately we still have too many passengers.

Unfortunately after so many years in the wilderness we also have a lot of passenger supporters like the w***er who started this rubbish thread hiding behind his key board.

What we have had is 80 odd servicable games, and we can now look forward to another 7-8 years of good football. I never did a whole lot of book learnin, but I figure that gives us about 80 games more value than you have had out of Gumbleton.

The thing about Walker is that he would be quite possibly attractive trade bait for GC17, if we can get a top 10 draft pick from them in 2010 for Walker, it's a no brainer really.

The poor little fella wishes he was there that fateful day all those years ago. For that matter, so do I. I don't condone killing but he put a 4inch hole through my TV on watching that smug prick clap himself off the field.

The worst thing about Milburn is that apparently he's done something far worse off the field, IE involvement in the death of an young man in a traffic accident several years ago (read that in the paper a few days ago)
