That's exactly why they choked against Sydney, and then the Kangaroos in the semi. They didn't want to get thumped like every other club who managed to beat us during the year did when we met the next time around.
Round one - Bulldogs beat us by 20 points. Round 16 - Geelong beat the Bulldogs by 75 points.
Round five - Kangaroos won by 15 points. Round 20, Geelong won by 27 points after being about 9 goals up and resting players in the last quarter.
Round 21 - Port beat us by five points, and well, we all know what happened on Saturday.
Yeah, I really can't see any reason why the Hawks fans would try and pick fights with the Cats, when they won the premiership by record margins. If the Hawks hadn't embarrassed themselves twice, they would have had an opportunity to play your team.
You can't talk. Your team embrassed themselves not once but twice in the final.
You showed the AFL public what pretenders you are. No good team get pumped in the finals.
And yet we beat you by 6 goals, where does that put the MIGHTY hawks?

The most success Hawthorn have enjoyed in the last 16 years was a semi win in 01. Were not even top 4 after regular season that year, or any other year apart from 93 (out first round V Adelaide).

as good as your team are this year, the fact still remains that your mob SHIT themselves the moment they see our piss and poo coloured jumpers. A premiership doesn't mean shit in this particular arguement and neither does our loss to the ROO's. The only thing that matters is 4 losses in a row to us (including 10 goal + thumpings at skilled). Until you beat us, then you guys are still officially our bitches. Silverware wont change that fact mate.

OMG you are sooooooooooo talented! Can I have your autograph? This folks is all Hawthorn supporters have left. No flags for 16 years, can't afford to convert the 80's premiership vids to DVDs, and getting beaten in a final by the Kangaroos who were thrashed by Port FFS. Enjoy the off season, I'm sure we all will.
