All class.

Sad to see him go. But excited about who gets to fill his boots.

I hope Collingwood treat him with the respect he deserves, and I wish him lots of luck. If he snags a Premiership in his twilight years, I reckon I could feel happy for him.

Thanks Timmy.
Always been a favourite of mine. And sorry to see him go although I understand the reason why.
He’s been a great player for the Saints and is a well-deserved life member.
Wishing him a good couple of years to bring up the end of a career.

Sad to see him go, but after his struggles at the end of 2023 and his patchy form at the start of the year it's nice to just see him back up firing and getting another gig with another club. Even if it is the filthiest of all the clubs in the land... Wish him well personally, hopefully he kicks 40 goals next year but Collingwood lose every game by a handful of points

Man I remember watching us kick the shit out of Essendon in 2016 - Bruce kicked 5 McCartin 2 and Membrey 3 - and I was convinced this was the forward line that would lead us for a decade.

That group of forwards didn't even stay together for 4 years and 8 years later the last one is gone.

Membrey was always my favourite though.

I hope we have a plan that just left no room for Tim. Have loved watching him play, and have nothing but the utmost respect for him as a team player. I so hoped there would be a last minute change...yes I want a brighter future, but Tim shone in a period of darkness. Will miss you out there for us.

RetchNice one, although a correction to your last part - he could have worn the red and black of essendon (yuck)

Fair point … clearly my subconscious was trying to blot out that stain on the league …

Am I the only one that thinks this is a terrible call by the club? Thought he looked back half off the season.
I'm with ya, absolutely gutted to see him go.
I'll be keeping an eye out for him next year & hope he goes well..
This one has almost hurt me as much as seeing DalSanto leave the club, instead of being a one club player for us

I think this is a dreadful decision by the club.
In my opinion he still had a lot to offer and is a very different player to anyone else on the list.
His performances improved as the season wore on, not the lone ranger there, and he ended up being a very useful forward.
The opposition always had to show him decent respect as failing to do so was a significant risk.
I can't help but feel that our forward line is going to take a step backward because of this.

Realistically he was only going to get one more year from us, Pies are offering more.

Plus Sharman has taken over his role in the forward line.

All the best Skunk and thanks for the memories.
Time to hand the keys over to the young guns.
It’s a ruthless decision but Skunk was never leading us to our next flag
