Its been like 3 weeks. Whats keeping everyone so long .
In all honesty this is set to be the most dull/lowest activity we have seen in a summer window in a long long time. Teams like Newcastle, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City (short on strikers I heard) will be the only real active buyers with most of the market looking to sell or stay where they are atm.
So far things we do know
- Gabriel Obertan has handed in a transfer request and will return to Ligue 1. Not Man United material im afraid
- Charlie Adams will have his transfer request accepted. Expect a scrap between Liverpool and Tottenham for his services
- Juventus have rejected the buyout clause in Aquilainis loan deal trying to lower the initial valuation on him. Both clubs discussing a 9-12 mill buyout according to Juves president
- Bolton need to raise 10-15 mill in funds in order to balance the books and will finally listen to offers for Gary Cahill
- Sunderland boss Nial Quinn has come out and said the club may have to sell Asamoa Gyan in order to balance the books at the club
- From West Hams perspective its nearly confirmed that Victor Obinna will sign for West Ham on a free transfer once his current deal is done. Good business from us
Some random predictions are
- Mascherano to end his Barca misery by signing for Inter Milan
- Arsenal to spend big and sign up a CB, backup GK and Eden Hazard
- Liverpool to blow alot of trumpets yet miss out on alot of players due to lack of CL football
- Harry to finally buy a striker. Being Luis Fabiano from Sevilla
