Like the Bulldogs in 2016, Tigers took their chance with both hands and made the most of it.

Well done to them.

Adelaide were exposed, and I'm not sure there's much improvement in them from here.
I'd be inclined to say they've peaked, and could head backwards from 2018

Also, being the trending player elevates you drastically in Norm Smith voting. There were at least 3-5 better players than Dusty

Like: Tigers deserved each and every minute of that. Their comeback from around this time last year when they were just sinking dramatically, to now, is incredible

Learn/confirmed: If you play fast footy, don't slow down in the grand final.

Hate: People talking down Dustys game - he wasn't the standout, because Richmond had so many players stand up, but he was around equal best with 4 or 5 others, so he deserves it. Umpiring whinging

Loved - The Killers

Learnt - Flat track bullies win minor premierships. The cream rises to the top every September.

Hated - No more AFL until 2018.

Also 2nd year in a row that it's shown as long as you make the 8, it's all about peaking at the right time. The Tigers 3rd, 4th, and 6th biggest winning margins (out of 18) came in finals.

Liked: Not much to like about this game. Killers were good. Ground looked sensational.
Learnt: Game is not what it used to be. Bruise free footy all day. Game is over and poorly umpired. They do impact flow of game.
Richmond deserved their Premiership.
Hated : The fact Richmond were under pump and a run of 6-7 free kicks many highly doubtful went there way and steadied the ship.
Norm Smith Medal. Adelaides lack of desire to get back into the game...just did not have a crack. Did I mention the umpiring oh yeh three of the worst umpires proved why they are three of the worst umpires.
Summary: Happy for Tigers. They were much hungrier than Crows and deserved victory. Really poor game. Really poorly umpired.
Let's move on to 2018. This year is Toast stick a fork in it!

Liked: Good to see hard, tough, mongrel football still wins premierships and not front running, flashy bullshit.
Learn't: I wish Port could play that way, might actually beat a top 8 side next year if we did.
Hated: Not much really other than the SA media over hyping the Crows. But that's what you get when you are in a 1.25 team town. Also the season is too short. Could go another month.
