I'm officially done with the morning show after today. Really enjoyed Jimmy and Mark the past few weeks, they have a genuine chemistry.

But I am not listening anymore to those two dickheads who do nothing but waffle on about music and bands I couldn't give less of a shit about.

Won't miss Russ' annoying laugh either.

I don't get what Russell adds to the show, honestly. But then (thankfully) I'm just listening to a snippet either side of the news when the alarm goes off or if I wake up before it goes off.

The only possible positive comment I could make about the bloke, is he has toned down the advertising/marketing talk.

He just laughs at anything Ross says and is like a fawning over excited kid. Adds nothing and I think to Ross’ detriment. Never has been able to replace Banks but Russell is terrible

It’s because Ross is still so good. Personally I listen mainly in the mornings and flick between aw, sen and RSN

All I do now is Pete Ford Monday and Thursday.

When I wake up in the morning am not even tempted to put those bozos on and am not missing it.

I think they were talking about replacing John with Glen Robbins when he left he would have been great

I only started listening to AW, 3 years ago. I'd get an hour or Ross and Russ driving to work and an hour of Tom Elliot driving home. I'd catch the odd episode of WWoS and maybe some of Money Matters (or talks) from time to time.

The few occasions I had the misfortune to listen to Mitchell over the years, I would switch to Jon Faine pretty quickly. I thought Mitchell was a bully and Faine was brilliant, probably my favourite all time presenter.

I've never listened to afternoons but probably should now with Tony Moclair. I used to catch the end of him driving to working and sometimes on a Sunday arvo with Grubby, talking trains and planes.

I still enjoy listening to Ross in the morning. Is there anyone he doesn't know or anywhere he hasn't been? I love his stories. Russ I can take or leave. I enjoy when Marko and Jimmy fill in too.

I thought Tom Elliot would struggle in the morning slot and I think he is, I enjoyed him for that hour in the afternoons, but now I have his show from the time he starts at 8:36 after the news. I think he's lightweight, it's like listening to SEN, there's one topic and he doesn't shut up about it all morning. I'll quite often turn him off by 10am now and just listen to music instead. He drove me ****ing mad last Friday with the story about a prisoner whose partner is pregnant through IVF. It's close to the straw which broke the camel's back.

I'm not much of a fan of Jacqui Felgate on drive, the only reason I can think she got the gig (and Tom Elliot in his slot for that matter) is because Heidi Murphy didn't want to do either of them full time.

Has anyone listened to Sharnelle Vella and Bob Murphy on the ABC in the breakfast slot? I'm thinking of giving them a go, I'm a fan of Sharnelle but not so much Bob.
