Star Wars The Acolyte

Robothead started off very well with his Sequel content which I found agreeable, researched, and entertaining, but there's a lot of hate baiting since then. The guys radio silence on Andor and Mandalorian is very suss, he must not make positive reviews. You'd think in the last few years he'd like at least one thing. I don't even think he talked about Mando 2 finale.

Just finished watching this. Wasn't nearly half as bad as people made out. Wasn't perfect, started slow, but built up reasonably well.

First time we see a Khyber Crystal bleed, which I thought was cool.

Now, because of all the whiney bastards, we won't get to see more of Darth Plagueis, which would have been epic. Thanks a lot neckbeards.

You can blame Disney, but toxic Star Wars fans have ruined Star Wars more than they have.

Do we need to see Darth plagueis?

We don't, we don't need to see how everyone and everything name dropped in the Lucas era happens.

Lol wut? We don't need to see more about an extremely interesting character in the Star Wars universe? Are you high?

Are you serious going to complain about a Star Wars show having Star Wars references?

Talk about proving my point.

Snoke being Darth Plagueis would’ve been the better thing to do. But that conversation has been done.

The Q’Mir character is the one that id like to see a continuation of in some shape or form, spin off or something. He was the standout for me.

Less is more.

Maybe that's why Andor is the best, and Skeleton crew is not getting the bad reception of others. Obi Wan and Boba Fett were complete busts and Mando has been decreasing quality.

*Yes Andor has Mon Mothma but nobody expected it to be that good

So you like the two shows that you could literally take out of the Star Wars universe and they'd be exactly the same, but you don't like the others with direct connection?

Obi Wan was great. We saw Vader at his most brutal and the final fight was epic.

Just admit you don't actually like Star Wars and leave it to those of us who do.

This is a really weird hill to die on.

Lol ok, Obi Wan is pretty universally considered average at best, but to be critical of a production means I hate Star Wars.

Far out dude, what were you doing in 1999? Hope you weren't someone making rape jokes, etc.

You seem to be critical of literally everything that has a genuine connection to the Star Wars universe. The shows aren't perfect, there is genuine criticism to be had, but there seems to be a common theme with yours.

****ing what?! No idea where you're going with this, but it's a pretty pathetic argument!

Who's dying?

It's just an opinion that I have no current interest in shows exploring characters that have already been created by the Lucas era films.

You have no interest in watching star wars shows about star wars characters? Especially characters we haven't seen previously? Do you understand how weird you sound?

I think it's time to leave the Lucas characters well enough alone for a while. I didn't know having a preference for originality was weird? I think something has been misunderstood judging from your second sentence. I am more than open to shows with characters with either haven't seen previously, or are Disney era films like Andor.

Plageuis hadn't been seen before The Acolyte?

1 episode in you could tell it was crap

I never went back

Yeh I will die on this hill and you can reverse over me 23 times; the discussion has been had here, on the whole internet, show business industry and at the Board of Disney with it being cancelled

Maybe I will return in the future for a continuation, but outside of this, have enjoyed all of the Tv shows on Disney from average to excellent feels

This one just didn’t grab my interest

He was named dropped by Lucas. Thus, he is a Lucas character. I said characters who are name dropped earlier.

Ffs if you're gonna engage me on my views at least ****ing read what I post before your knickers get in a twist.

Yeah this is why I said it's a weird hill for you to die on as this is such a flimsy reason to be unhappy with seeing him in a show.

I'm not unhappy, again you've misunderstood. I was saying that no more acolyte meaning no plagueis show, isn't what I consider a huge loss.

It was cancelled because it was a 230 million dollar pile of shit that no one watched. That's why you won't see any more Darth Plagueis.
