Does anyone know when Southern Cross will be picking it up? Currently the show that was on at this timeslot (Ramsey Kitchen Nightmares) finished on Thursday night, will we be getting the first Amazing Race in it's place? I hope it's not on at 11.30pm like it was last time..

Amazing Race rocks. I also agree with Benny. Bring back the Mole. I reckon its equally as good and the best AUSTRALIAN produced reality TV show ever.

It's a shame they aren't making the mole anymore, the last 2 series' I started to get hooked on it. It's a shame we have to wait, for awhile before we get The Amazing Race down here. I wish with my set top box, I could get Seven aswell as Ten, then I would be happy.

The fifth instalment of the two-time Emmy Award-winning series The Amazing Race will premiere on Thursday October 14 at 8.30pm on Seven.

Amazing Race 5 features 11 teams of two, each with a pre-existing relationship. The contestants travel the world, racing through several international locales, performing mentally challenging and physically gruelling tasks.

Without mobile phones and carrying only limited cash, the teams will be filmed around the clock as their wits – and relationships – are pushed to breaking point.

Those who can’t keep up with the quick pace will be eliminated from the competition, while the team to make it back first with all the tasks completed wins the global game of the century – and a $US1 million cash prize!

There is not one show I watch on 7 so can't tell if they are pushing it at all.

They're promoting it but they're still saying 'coming soon' so most people don't know when it's starting. Nine are promoting The Apprentice, which starts on the same night, but they're telling everyone when it starts.
