Coincidentally the Dogs were supposedly revving up to take the AFL on in the back end of 2016 over it being brushed under the rug, and then the 2016 GF happened and suddenly the Dogs weren't as keen to go after the AFL.

Thank you AFL. The gift that keeps on gving.

Looks like no team in Tassie for the foreseeable future which I agree with unfortunately.

Just not economically viable at this stage for the comp and other 18 clubs

Re-evaluate around 2030-35.

She's all over the shop atm

Delist the fat duck

Such a shame as he started the year off very well and seemed to have found his role in the side. And then the injury happened, again.

Hopefully Caleb Marchbank can eventually come into the side soon and doesn’t break down.

I don't think we will risk Marchy any time soon, was (happily) cleared of any knee damage in the VFL over the weekend.

If he does another ACL it's all over for him, I don't want us to rush risking him, even if we need him desperately.

Going okay so far, we will smash Collingwood this week, nice to have an easy game after a torrid few weeks.

Wonder if one of the WA clubs would be desperate enough to offer a 4th round pick for him

You’d think we’d need to take on a large portion of his salary if he does leave. Unfortunately, he can’t stay on the field because he would be very valuable if we could.

Only has a year left on his deal so take the hit and cover half for a year.

We'd take him and his full salary if you threw in a pick.

Bummer.

Hopefully it was heavily front ended. We could use the extra dough for Curnow/McKay and Walsh.

I have read that it was a front loaded contract. There are lots of contracts that were front loaded, from the SOS era.

Walsh’ contract won’t need to be looked at extending for a while but Curnow/McKay definitely.

Jordan Roughead retires.

Reckon he was pressed for an answer given the MSD is next week.
They already have a pick with Kreuger being out, I think it's just he had enough with his body(never been able to get a good run at it). He'll focus on his AFLW coaching career.
