Essendon don't really think things through.

Think I read he did the external review and that's how he ended up getting the jobmakes the nab thing look pretty good
Saw this in the Age.I really wanted Cadman at pick 1 but now you can pretty much lock in George Wardlaw. If somehow a miracle happens and Bowes wants to play for North I wonder whether we could package pick 7 up with pick 8 to move up to pick 2. Big ask I know as the Eagles need a key forward and that deal is debatable anyway.

Gold Coast Suns midfielder Jack Bowes will tour Essendon, Hawthorn and Geelong on Tuesday and then make a call on where he wants to play in 2023.
North Melbourne also had been interested in the Bowes deal, but the Sun has narrowed his choice to three clubs.
Bowes to tour Hawks, Cats and Bombers before making call on his future
Gold Coast Suns midfielder Jack Bowes is being sought by the three Victorian clubs, who are eager not only to secure the midfielders, but especially to land Gold Coast’s pick No.7, which is on offer due to the Suns wishing to lose Bowes’ hefty two-year contract.www.theage.com.au
I mean if you combine all 3 teams together you get a baby boomer. Old, racist and homophobic. You’d really fancy our chances if it’s between us, hawks & Essendon, guess we’ll see though.
No, he was the lead on the external review. Is it true the new Essendon CEO was on the panel to try and find the next CEO?
Even that's odd to me. Seems a pretty big conflict of interest. No, he was the lead on the external review.
Speculation is one thing. I have chatted to his granddad numerous times who comes into work more than once a week.
All year it was about how happy he is at the pies and is loving getting games. Family gathering for father’s day and he was silent all day with the weight of the world on his shoulders. During finals it had become a case of waiting for his exit meeting and if McStay was coming he wasn’t hanging around.
Even disregarding the Church thing, the fact he was publicly lashed (and ultimately resigned due to misconduct) in a royal commission should've been reason enough to not appoint him.Suppose there’s no Catholics in charge of other clubs and businesses considering the Church’s stance on many things incl women, homosexuality, abortion etc

Why’s that? Not really the same thing is it?
