Barnet police from memory commented on the media commentary and stated the legislation wasn't yet in effect. A technicality.

One more thing Geelong are under investigation for. How have they gone from being a smart football club that kept all their outside “activities” under lock and key for years to a dumb club that seems to be fighting a new allegation every week. You lose one CEO and it all comes crashing down lol.

Article making it clear they don't suggest player or club knew individual was dodgy, and the kicker, it was a loan contract not signed or executed in the end.
