AAAAAAAAAAARGH!
Hello bae. I hope you’re enjoying this offseason as much as I am!
What’s your favourite book? What book are you currently reading? What’s a popular book you hate? Tell me!
My favourite book of all time has to be Dracula. Not to be cliche but I think it set lofty heights for what gothic horror could be. It presents a unique style of writing and method of story delivery. The original was written and told its story through notes, journal entries, newspaper articles and the like. It really spurred my love of horror when i first read it.
Since christmas, I’ve read a few books, Slaughterhouse 5, The King in Yellow & Ice Station, all of which I’d recommend, but I’m presently reading “The Italian” (just started this morning) which has so far been terrific, even if I’m only 20~ pages in.
Lastly, I ****ing hate the Da Vinci code. Poorly written and one of the least interesting thriller/crime novels I’ve ever read (and the movie is worse) I also hated Bridge to Terabithia as a kid, shit story.
