Because most big name players are the exact same as Gayle when it comes to rooting copious amounts of women and not really giving two shits about it publicly.

They'll definitely think twice after this witch hunt finishes.
So most big name players have a pole dancing facility set up in their house?

I don't give two shits about him being a pants man, but don't do it in a workplace. If either of these situations (and who knows how many others there's been) happened in a nightclub, at a party etc, then the women would've been in a position to either say piss off campaigner or ok D/H...

Anyone who speaks of themselves in the third person is - in the opinion of the poster penning this - a complete toolbox.

It would seem that women still aren't (or at least the femmos) generally happy to be treated like another man. If a man had some banter at the other mans expense (i.e sledging etc) no one would blink and eye and they would expect a bit of back and forth. And people complain about cookie cutter boring media personalities. I don't support harassment of women or anyone for that matter but the best approach to this sort of thing is nothing is sacred.

Like the South Park creators said, if they were to hold back on one subject/group then that would be discrimination. They hang shit on everyone.

'KN white knights

On this forum Morganashlee and Wooshette more than hold their own, it is a shame that people are so quick call out 'micro aggression's' when I would say it is part of the Australian culture to have a bit of banter.

No they won't. This is what the SJW's don't seem to comprehend. The people they most try to force to bend to their moral code are the ones least likely to give any ****s about what they think.

Yeah/nah.

No-one willingly will put themselves through an Australian a media witch-hunt, (whose piss poor reputation is very well deserved), which is specifically driven by outraged women, regardless of how narcissistic they are.

We've only seen the beginning of this with the woman so outraged a year after 'he flashed his **** at me'.

Today the 'social' commentators will really go to work on him and other 'offended' women will miraculously come out of the woodwork.

I'm not defending this guy as he is obviously a douche. A characteristic we see consistently in our own champion sportspeople.

However, I'll say again that the reporter MUST have known of his reputation as a pants man/sleaze/dirt bag and should have been better prepared.

She missed a cracking opportunity to tear him a new one and, in the process, give female sports journo's a huge fillip.

Now all we've got is people who search for outrage being outraged and the media feeding the frenzy for advertising dollars.

It's a bit like saying if you're at work and there's the sleazy guy in accounts, just be careful when you go and talk to him, coz he's probably going to say something sleazy and you might have to be prepared with a good one liner. Other people should not have to modify their behaviour in the workplace for dickheads like him. Dickheads need to modify their behaviour when it comes to workplace behaviour.

And they were both at work at the time.

This woman's job is to think on her feet on live television, not make the coffee in an office, and today we are seeing other female journo's saying that Gayle had 'offended' them in the past, so she should have been better prepared.

You're seriously not that naïve to believe that Cricket Australia didn't know and have willingly turned a blind eye up until now?

Mate, dickheads abound everywhere and expecting an extreme narcissist like Gayle to 'modify' his behaviour is akin to holding back a tsunami. It aint gonna happen.

I've said it before, but could you imagine a Leigh Sales type copping this and going to water? Nah, she'd go full blow torch to the gonads on live TV with him.

This, of course, begs the question if the reporter in question was employed because she had a great rack and a sexy smile over and above her journalistic abilities.

And you and your band of SJW's are going to ride in on your high horses and force the Chris Gayle's of this world to adhere to the direction on your moral compass are you?

You forgot that his employer was aware how 'sleazy' that guy was, but gave him the job anyway because he was good at it.

Also, he is not in the same company as the person he was apparently 'sleazy' to.

Faux confected rage on the part of some, feral activism on the part of others.

And 10 will want to move on because there will be a player backlash.

You're assuming Chris Gayle gives a ****. Pretty sure he doesn't.

I bet he was down the club last night getting free drinks, surrounded by dozens of attractive young Aussie girls, keen to get down to his members end and face a couple of balls. Just like most nights I would think.

As far as I could tell she seemed to handle it ok, it's been the shitstorm afterwards that's got everyone frothing.

Workplace is workplace. His "job" is to play cricket and entertain, hers is to report. In neither job description would you find it written that trying to crack onto people whilst trying to do their job is acceptable. That's the modern workplace, whether you like it or not.

And yep I know she's probably got there in part because of her excellent rack and smoking figure, but that doesn't mean she has to wear macho shit from flogs like Gayle.

He and Dave Warner would probably be best buddies.

Go and check his employer's workplace health and safety regulations, and tell me if it states that he can behave in such a manner. It won't.

Mel's gotten over it, why can't you?

A TV station employing a female presenter based on her appearance?

I call bullshit. Doesn't happen. Ever.

I also believe in unicorns
