, its no surprise that most clubs memberships have gone through the roof since the AFL removed the need to actually buy them, the AFL are embarrassing as usual.I think Essendon could already be replaced if the big 4 was reliant on memberships alone.
The CEO has 49k of those, there is no longer a requirement for memberships to be paid for so any club can just send out a 100k free and say they have 100k members, seems Geelong could only find 90k people that would even accept mail from the Geelong region, even with a free membership as enticement.
